Civic-Minded College Students Have Opportunity for Award

Civic-minded college students may apply for the Frank Newman Leadership Award through the Oklahoma Campus Compact program. The program provides two cash awards of $5,000, but students must apply by March 21. From Norman Transcript.

Helping encourage football patrons to recycle their plastic and aluminum bottles and cans. Volunteers needed! All volunteers will receive a t-shirt and the 100 in the stadium will have free admission.

Arts market in Norman

Dreamer concepts Studio and foundation is hosting 2nd annual downtown arts market in Norman. We are looking for assistance in setting up, operating and breaking down markets which will be on Saturdays. Oct 4, Nov15, Dec 13 The markets will be held along Legacy Train on Jones AVE between Main and Eufaula and will include booths by local artists and farmers, story telling & crafts for children, live music and much more If you would like to volunteer please contact Amber with Dreamer concepts at market@dreamerconcepts.org or (405) 701-0048.
